The economy of Zambales posted a 5.0 percent growth in 2023, slower than the 11.2 percent recorded in the previous year. The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Zambales was estimated at PhP 92.69 billion. (Figure 1)

The deceleration in the economy of Zambales was due to the declines in Agriculture, forestry, and fishing at 12.4 percent, along with Public administration and defense; compulsory social activities at 4.2 percent. (Figure 2)

In 2023, the per capita GDP of Zambales was estimated at PhP 136,058 which marked a 3.5 percent increase compared with the recorded per capita GDP of the previous year.
