Zambales, Philippines – The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Zambales has achieved a remarkable milestone for June 2025, registering a total of 2,583 individuals for the National ID, exceeding its monthly target by a staggering 344.40%.
Of those registered, 1,646 individuals successfully received their National ID Paper Form (ePhilID). The registrants included 372 children aged 0–4 years, while the majority—2,211 individuals—were aged 5 years and above.
Leading the province in registrations was Olongapo City, recording 616 enrollees, or 23.85% of the total. It was followed by Subic Municipality with 461 registrants, and Castillejos with 436.
PSA Zambales credited the success to its intensified mobile registration strategies, notably the DSWD Mobile Registration, which yielded 707 registrations across the province. This was followed closely by LGU Mobile Registration sites, typically set up in public plazas and covered courts in barangays, which contributed 702 registrations. LGU Fixed Registration sites added another 657 to the total.
The agency emphasized that the overwhelming turnout reflects the effectiveness of bringing government services closer to the people, particularly to vulnerable sectors and remote communities. These outreach initiatives not only improved accessibility but also bolstered public participation in the PhilSys (Philippine Identification System).
