The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Zambales Provincial Statistical Office proudly recognizes the invaluable contributions of Local Government Units (LGUs) in the province, following the successful attainment of 250% of its National ID registration target for the second quarter of 2025. This remarkable achievement was made possible through the active collaboration and support of LGUs across Zambales and Olongapo City.
At the forefront of this success is Olongapo City, which recorded an impressive 1,923 registrants, the highest among all LGUs in the province. This figure was accumulated through registrations held at Olongapo City Hall and the PSA-based Fixed Registration Center in Upper Kalaklan.
Subic ranked second with 1,386 registrants, attributed to the concerted efforts of the local government and the mall-based registration activities at Waltermart Mall. Meanwhile, Castillejos contributed 676 registrants, largely during the DSWD Mobile Registrations targeting vulnerable sectors within the community. The remaining 1,565 registrants were collectively registered from the other municipalities throughout Zambales.
The PSA Zambales expresses its deep appreciation to all LGUs for their continued partnership and dedication to the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys). This collective effort plays a crucial role in establishing a comprehensive and inclusive national database that aims to improve public service delivery, strengthen social protection programs, and foster economic participation for every Zambaleño.
