Among the 16 industries of the province, the fastest growths were observed in Accommodation and food service activities with 32.0 percent followed by Mining and quarrying with 27.4 percent and Other Services with 18.9 percent growth rate. On the other hand, Public administration and defense; compulsory social security declined by 4.6 percent in 2023. (Figure 2)

Nueva Ecija ranked as the third largest economy among the provinces and Highly Urbanized Cities in Central Luzon, contributing 13.6 percent to the Gross Regional Domestic Product, which was estimated at      PhP 2.32 trillion in 2023.
