The economy of the City of Angeles recorded a growth of 7.5 percent in 2023 from a 10.0 percent growth in the previous year. The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the City of Angeles was estimated at PhP 141.76 billion. (Figure 1)

 

 

Among the industries, the fastest growths were observed in Other services with 37.2 percent, followed by Accommodation and food service activities with 15.5 percent, and Financial and insurance activities with 11.4 percent. On the other hand, Public administration and defense; compulsory social security recorded a negative growth of 4.3 percent. (Figure 2)

 

 

 

The per capita GDP of the City of Angeles was estimated at PhP 249,101 which marked a 3.8 percent increase compared to the recorded per capita GDP of the previous year. The City of Angeles had a GDP per capita higher than the regional GDP per capita of Php 179,841.
