
The Provincial Statistical Office of Nueva Ecija successfully conducted the 2022 Annual Survey of Philippine Business and Industry (ASPBI) and 2024 Quarterly Survey of Philippine Business and Industry (QSPBI) Provincial Data Dissemination Forum at Belle’s Catering sa Lumang Bahay, Valdefuente, Cabanatuan City on 20 December 2024. This event presented the survey results on the structure, trends, and levels of economic activities in the country for the year 2022. Also, the role of QSPBI Data in Figuring Up the GDP of the Philippines.
Participants from government agencies, banks, hospitals, electric companies, local business leaders, academic institutions, and other partner agencies attended the event, encouraging cooperation among important local economy participants.
In her opening remarks, Ms. Girlie G. De Guzman, OIC-Supervising Statistical Specialist, emphasized the importance of stakeholders and respondents: “The ASPBI and QSPBI served a valuable, important role in getting the complete picture of the economy in Nueva Ecija”.

Ms. Jonabel C. Yu, the Statistical Specialist II of the PSO Nueva Ecija, presented the 2022 ASPBI Regional Data, highlighting the statistics from the 2022 ASPBI, focusing on Business and Industry in the Philippines. Ms. Yu SS II also discussed the QSPBI and national accounts. The forum highlighted statistics from the 2024 QSPBI, focusing on Business and Industry in Nueva Ecija.
The program was concluded with closing remarks by the PSO-Nueva Ecija’s Statistical Specialist II, Ms. Ria C. Salvador.
