The Philippine Statistical Office (PSO) Nueva Ecija conducted the awarding of Exemplary Respondents during the 2022 Annual Survey of Philippine Business and Industry (ASPBI) and 2024 Quarterly Survey of Philippine Business and Industry (QSPBI) Provincial Data Dissemination Forum at Belle’s Catering sa Lumang Bahay, Valdefuente, Cabanatuan City on 20 December 2024. 
Ten (10) were awarded a Certificate of Recognition for their valuable contributions to the 2022 ASPBI and 2024 QSPBI. This recognition highlights the stakeholders' and respondents' contribution to providing timely and accurate data on Philippine Business and Industry in Nueva Ecija.
The conduct of the 2022 ASPBI is authorized under Republic Act No. 10625, known as the Philippine Statistical Act of 2013, which mandates the PSA to collect, compile, analyze, and publish statistical information relating to the country’s economic condition. This aims to collect and generate information on the levels, structure, performance, and trends of economic activities of the formal sector of the economy for the year 2022. Moreover, the QSPBI is also a designated statistical activity of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA). It provides quarterly data on employment, compensation, revenue/sales, and inventory for national account estimation. The survey is one of the primary data sources in the compilation of the Quarterly National Accounts (QNA) and the construction of the Quarterly Economic Indicators (QEI).


During the awarding ceremony held at Belle’s Catering sa Lumang Bahay, Valdefuente, Cabanatuan City, Ms. Girlie G. De Guzman, OIC—Supervising Statistical Specialist, emphasized the importance of respondents in getting a complete picture of the economy in Nueva Ecija.

The PSO Nueva Ecija initiated the Certificate of Recognition to acknowledge the stakeholders and respondents consistently uphold high standards in their participation in the ASPBI and QSPBI. These businesses comply with survey requirements and exhibit exceptional dedication to supporting the PSA's mission to produce reliable and timely economic data.
