Iba, Zambales – June 18, 2025 — The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Zambales, in close partnership with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Iba, successfully conducted a National ID registration activity at the Iba Municipal Conference Hall on June 18, 2025. The initiative served a total of 82 individuals, with a strong focus on elderly and vulnerable citizens.
Of the total registrants, 36 were social pensioners, underscoring the commitment of both PSA Zambales and the LGU of Iba to provide easier access to the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) for senior citizens and other marginalized groups.
This activity is part of PSA’s broader mission to bring PhilSys registration closer to local communities, particularly in areas where residents may face logistical challenges in reaching regular registration centers.
The PSA continues to encourage all unregistered residents of Iba and surrounding areas to participate in future registration events and become part of the growing number of Filipinos now enrolled in the PhilSys program—a system designed to streamline access to government services, improve financial inclusion, and enhance national security.
