12 February 2025, PSA Pampanga Provincial Statistical Office – The PSA Pampanga Provincial Statistical Office recently hosted the January 2025 Inflation Report Press Conference for Pampanga and Angeles City via Google Meet. The Press Conference was live-streamed on the PSO's Official Facebook Page which aims to deliver timely and relevant information on the province’s updates on statistics. Chief Statistical Specialist Maria Virginia R. Olveña, delivered an insightful address at the conference, providing valuable insights into the factors impacting inflation rates in Pampanga and Angeles City for the month of January 2025. She also discussed broader inflation trends in Central Luzon. According to the January 2025 inflation report, Pampanga saw an increase in inflation to 5.5 percent from the 4.8 percent reported in December 2024. Additionally, Angeles City experienced an increase in its inflation rate to 5.4 percent from the previously recorded 4.2 percent in December 2024. The detailed analysis shared at the conference provided valuable insights into economic trends and their potential impact on our economy.
