Update on Philippine Identification System Registration in Bataan as of November 2024

Total Registrants as of 30 November 2024

A total registrant of 722,065 Bataeños have been registered in the Philippine Identification System Step 2 in the Province of Bataan. Table 1 shows that 84.61% of the provincial target (853,373) is successfully registered in the Philippine Identification System. It is composed of 135,477 who are 0 to 14 years old and 586,588 who are 15 years old and above.

A total registrant of 3,507 Bataeños have been registered for the month of November 2024 in the PhilSys Step 2 in the Province of Bataan. Table 2 shows that 37.32% of the target workload for the month of November 2024 (9,396) was successfully registered in the PhilSys.

 

Registrants per Municipality

The City of Balanga tops the highest registrants with 108.73% based on the target from 2020 Census of Population and Housing (113,271 registrants out of 104,173 population). In the City of Balanga located the PhilSys fixed registration center which covers/accommodates the registrants in the whole province of Bataan. Next, the municipality of Samal at 89.21% (34,168 out of 38,302) placing the second highest accomplishment. Then, the municipality of Orani with 89.14% (62,706 out of 70,342). The least reported percentage of accomplishment was Mariveles at 73.08% (109,477 out of 149,809).

The number of registrants decreased during the month of November. Technical issues encountered in this month that may result in the low output. In coordination with the Local Government Units (LGUs), Department of Social Welfare, Development (DSWD) in the Bataan and to the Department of Education Bataan to conduct PhilSys registration and authentication of PhilSys Card Number, issuance of ePhilID, and saturation of the area was done this month. PSA Bataan went to far-flung areas to extend the services provided. Furthermore, there were 5,187 in January, 7,370 in February, 6,026 in March, 6,662 in April, 8,288 in May, 7,698 in June, 5,649 in July 2024, 6,180 in August, 6,194 in September, 7,552 in October and 3,507 in November 2024.

Concerning the total number of received PhilID’s as per the delivered, there is still a total of ongoing deliveries with 36 PhilID’s. In total, 99.99% delivered and 5,468 return-to-sender endorsements to PSA Regional Office.

PhilSys Step 3- Issuance of ePhilID

The total ePhilID issued in the province was 192,503 out of 195,849 target ePhilID up to November 2024, the figure is equivalent to 98.29% issued of the target as of November 2024.

The municipality of Mariveles had the highest numbers issued ePhilID with 30,946, followed by the city of Balanga with 30,166 and municipality of Dinalupihan with 22,129. Morong has the least issued ePhilID with 6,032.
