San Antonio, Zambales – The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Zambales Provincial Statistical Office conducted a National ID Information Awareness Campaign to Grade 10 and Grade 12 students of Dalmacio-Pablo Carpio National High School in Brgy. San Nicolas, San Antonio, Zambales, on February 24, 2025.

PSA Zambales Information Officer I Dona D. Balasabas led the discussion, highlighting the salient features of Republic Act 11055, also known as the Philippine Identification System Act of 2018. She explained that the National ID, available in card form, paper form, and digital format, serves as a key to financial inclusion by providing Filipinos with a single and reliable identification system. Ms. Balasabas also emphasized the features, validity, and utilization of the National ID Paper Form and Digital National ID.

Following the lecture, students raised concerns and inquiries, including delays in the delivery of their National IDs, issues with front-facing photographs, and procedures for updating or correcting clerical errors. PSA Zambales addressed these questions and provided guidance on how to resolve such concerns through the proper channels.

PSA Zambales remains fully committed to its Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) campaign to promote the importance and benefits of the National ID system. The agency continues to enhance public awareness and ensure efficient service delivery to better inform citizens about the National ID and its updated services.
