Balanga City, Bataan - Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) has officially launched its National ID registration at the Bataan General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) compound through a new colocation set up on 25 April 2025. It is a continuous effort to make the National ID System more accessible to every Filipino.

The PSA initiated to conduct a National ID Registration to private and public hospitals to prioritize newborns, pregnant women, and other unregistered patients in the hospitals. The pilot registration at the BGHMC was held on 25 to 26 April 2025 that marked a successful start with fourteen (14) moms completing their biometrics and demographic capture.

Regular operations will proceed every Monday and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. starting 28 to 29 April 2025, with the PSA Registration Kit Operator (RKO) and Registration Assistant (RA) assisting clients directly within the hospital premises. Other services such as Issuance of ePhilID, Issuance of Digital ID and Retrieval of Transaction Reference Numbers (TRN) are also included in the regular operation.

PSA Bataan underscores the commitment to this colocation in inclusive registration by embedding National ID system services in key institutions like in BGHMC and other hospitals. The agency hopes to register and provide essential documents to all Bataeños thereby showing convenience and efficiency in accessing government services.

PSA Bataan encourages all unregistered patients in BGHMC to take advantage of these accessible services and take the first step toward better service access.

The government, through the PSA, remains committed to expanding public awareness by implementing information, education, and communication campaigns that highlight the functionalities and benefits of the National ID.
