The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Bataan is currently conducting the Quarter 1, 2025 Quarterly Municipal Fisheries Survey (QMFS) to 60 fishing operators for the six landing centers in the province. The fishing operators will be visited by the hired Statistical from 03 January to 31 March 2025 weekly.

2025 QMFS is a nationwide survey conducted by the PSA to generate volume and value of municipal fisheries production by species at the provincial, regional, and national levels. These data will be used by government planners, policymakers, and administrators in formulating economic development plans, policies, and programs.

The conduct of the 2025 QMFS is in accordance with Republic Act (RA) No. 10625 (Philippine Statistical Act of 2013), which authorizes the PSA to prepare and conduct periodic censuses on various sectors of the economy and Executive Order No. 352 mandating the conduct of QMFS every quarter.

In line with this, Philippine Statistics Authority – Bataan enjoins the sample operators to participate in the 2025 QMFS. PSA is expecting the cooperation of the Barangay Officials and the public in the following landing centers.

•    Poblacion, Limay
•    Lucanin, Mariveles
•    Pantalan Luma (Pob.), Orani
•    Lusungan (Pob.), Orion
•    East Calaguiman (Pob.), Samal
