The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Bataan is currently conducting the Quarter 2, 2025 Quarterly Commercial Fisheries Survey (QCFS) to 2 commercial fishing operators for 1 landing center in the province. The commercial fishing operators will be visited by the hired statistical researcher from 01 April to 30 June 2025 weekly.

2025 QCFS is a nationwide survey conducted by the PSA to generate volume and value of municipal fisheries production by species at the provincial, regional, and national levels. These data will be used by government planners, policymakers, and administrators in formulating economic development plans, policies, and programs.

The conduct of the 2025 QCFS is in accordance with Republic Act (RA) No. 10625 (Philippine
Statistical Act of 2013), which authorizes the PSA to prepare and conduct periodic censuses on various sectors of the economy and Executive Order No. 352 mandating the conduct of QCFS every quarter.

In line with this, Philippine Statistics Authority – Bataan enjoins the sample commercial operators to participate in the 2025 QCFS. PSA is expecting the cooperation of the Barangay Officials and the public in Puerto Rivas Ibaba, landing center in Balanga City.
