09 MAY 2024 – BALER, AURORA. The Provincial Statistical Office of Aurora has officially commenced the conduct of the Census of Philippine Business and Industry (CPBI) on 09 May 2024. This significant undertaking marked the beginning of a comprehensive data collection effort aimed at understanding the economic landscape of the Philippines. The personnel involved in PSO Aurora spearheaded the distribution and collection of the CPBI and the Input-Output Survey of Philippine Business and Industry (IOSPBI) forms across the eight municipalities of Aurora.

In preparation for this significant task, the provincial-level training for the CPBI and the Input-Output Survey of Philippine Business and Industry (IOSPBI) was conducted by PSO Aurora from April 22 to 26, 2024. This training aimed to equip statistical researchers with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively carry out the census.

 

The assigned personnel for the CPBI and IOSPBI proceeded to their areas of assignment after the training. The supervisors headed by SS II Irene C. Sindac, together with SS II Ferdinand P. Peralta and AA II Roxanne A. Lopez monitored the commencement of the operation. This is to ensure that the respondents will cooperate leading to the success of the whole operation.
