14 October 2024 – Baler, Aurora. The Philippine Statistics Authority - Aurora Provincial Statistical office successfully registered 214,018 individuals in Step 2 and delivered 162,684 ePhilIDs as of September 30, 2024.
Additionally, the Philsys team also continued to collaborate with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to conduct registrations during the Family Development Sessions (FDS), with the main participants were those 4Ps beneficiaries. They took the opportunity to participate and register those individuals not yet registered with National ID.
In addition to this, the team maintained their ongoing mobile registration allowing them to operate daily from one house to another and from one sitio and purok to another in every barangay. With the recently launched “Rehistro Bulilit” campaign, the PhilSys team registered at Day Care Centers to target those children under five years old who had not yet registered.
Furthermore, the DCS Portal remained accessible for individuals seeking to get their ePhilID. The use of the Digital National ID has been beneficial for registrants in their transactions even though they have still no PhilID or ePhilID, since it is considered a valid and sufficient proof of identity.
