16-17 August 2024 – VL City Sports Center, Villa Angelina, San Jose, Angeles City. A two-day, one-stop shop PhilSys registration event was successfully conducted in Angeles City, demonstrating a collaborative effort between the Philippine Statistics Authority (PhilSys) and the Commission on Elections. Under the leadership of PhilSys focal person Noel G. Lincoran, and with the dedicated support of the registration team, including Joseph Carl D. Tablizo, Pretty May De Leon, Cristel David, Carlo Morales, and Celeste Janaban, the event aimed to streamline the registration process for residents.

Hosted by Congressman Carmelo “Jun” B. Lazatin II and his constituents, the initiative provided a convenient platform for Angeleños to enroll in the National ID system. Despite the long trips faced by many applicants, the PhilSys team efficiently registered 218 individuals, including children aged 1 – 4 years old. This achievement underscores the commitment of the Congressman's office to delivering accessible and responsive public services to the community.

By consolidating multiple government services into a single location, the event significantly reduced the time and effort required for residents to complete the registration process. The PhilSys team's dedication in assisting applicants, coupled with the supportive environment initiated by the Congressman's office, contributed to the overall success of the initiative.

The event served as a model for efficient and effective government service delivery, demonstrating the positive impact of inter-agency collaboration. The PhilSys registration drive in Angeles City not only facilitated the enrollment of a significant number of residents but also strengthened the bond between the government and the community.
