Total Registrants as of 29 February 2024

A total registrant of 664,339 Bataeños have been registered in the Philippine Identification System Step 2 in the Province of Bataan. The figure shows that 77.85% of the provincial target (853,373) is successfully registered in the Philippine Identification System. It is composed of 108,783 who are 5 to 14 years old and 555,456  who are 15 years old and above. 

 

Registrants per Municipality

The City of Balanga recorded the highest numbers of 105,178 registrants, followed by Mariveles and Dinalupihan with 95,827 and 91,198 registrants respectively. The municipality with the least reported registrations is the municipality of Morong with 24,929 registrants. 

The City of Balanga tops the highest registrants with 100.96% based on the 2020 Census of Population and Housing (105,178 registrants out of 104,173 population). Concerning the City of Balanga with a fixed registration center covering/accommodating the registrants in the whole province of Bataan. Next, the municipality of Samal at 84.74% (32,457 out of 38,302) placing the second highest accomplishment. Then, the municipality of Orani with 84.48% (59,422 out of 70,342). The least reported percentage of accomplishment was Mariveles at 65.13% (97,572 out of 149,809).

The number of registrants increased steadily during the last quarter of 2023. There were 4,217 in October, 4,858 in November, 3,553 in December 2023, 5,187 in January 2024 and 7,370 in February 2024. This illustrates that the Step 2 Registration in February 2024 is increasing in number. Partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development to register in PhilSys and authenticate the PCN of 4Ps Beneficiaries and saturation of the area was done this month. Philippine Statistics Authority Bataan went to far-flung areas to extend the services provided.

PhilSys Step 3- Delivery of Philippine ID

Concerning the total number of received PhilID’s as per the delivered, there is still a total of ongoing deliveries with 462 PhilID’s. In total, 99.52% delivered 4,245 return-to-sender endorsements to PSA Regional Office.

PhilSys Step 3- Issuance of ePhilID

The total ePhilID issued in the province was 167,773 out of 195,849 target ePhilID up to February 2024, the figure is equivalent to 85.66% issued of the target as of February 2024.

The City of Balanga had the highest numbers issued ePhilID with 27,090, followed by the municipality of Mariveles with 26,582 and municipality of Dinalupihan with 19,694. Morong has the least issued ePhilID with 3,924.
