Carabao Inventory Drop by 13.6 Percent on 01 April 2025
The carabao inventory in the province was estimated to be 61,830 heads on 01 April 2025. There is a decrease of 9,752 heads or 13.6 percent based on the gathered data last year of the same period which is 71,582 heads (Figure 1 and Table 1)
A Rise of 1.0 Percent for Cattle Inventory on 01 April 2025
The recorded province inventory for cattle as of 01 April 2025 was 76,140 heads. Based on the data last year with 75,406 of the same periods, there was an increase of 734 heads or 1.0 percent this year. (Figure 2 and Table 1)
Goat Inventory Drop by 16,021 heads
The total inventory of goat as of 01 April 2025 was estimated to be 86,523 heads. There was a decline of 16,021 heads or 15.6 percent compared to the data last year of the same semester with 102,544 heads. (Figure 3 and Table 1)
An Increase of 5.6 Percent for Swine Inventory on 01 April 2025
As of 01 April 2025, the total inventory of swine was estimated to be 160,834 heads from 152,373 heads from the same period of the previous year. An increase of 5.6 percent or 8,461 heads. (Figure 4 and Table 1)
Chicken Inventory Went Up by 25.6 Percent on 01 April 2025
The chicken inventory was increased to 11,620,028 birds on 01 April 2025 from 9,252,567 birds from the same period last year. Broiler, layer and game fowl inventory went up by 43.0 percent, 16.3 percent and 9.9 percent, respectively, while native/improved went down by 7.4 percent. Given the total chicken inventory, 53.61 percent were raised from broiler farms, 35.13 percent from layer farms, 9.79 percent from backyard which is the native/improved chicken and 1.47 percent from game fowl. (Figure 5 and Table 2)
A Decrease of 30.0 Percent on 01 April 2025 for Duck Inventory
As of 01 April 2025, the total duck inventory went down by 30.0 by percent, from 222,739 to 318,206 birds, with the same period in 2024. (Figure 6 and Table 3)
