Olongapo City — The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Zambales has successfully completed its first surveillance audit for the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification on 26 March 2025. This achievement marks the office’s first milestone for the year, demonstrating its firm commitment to excellence in service delivery and operational integrity.

The audit, conducted as part of PSA Zambales' ongoing efforts to maintain the highest standards of statistical practice, aims to reinforce public trust in the agency’s continuous delivery of reliable statistics, efficient civil registration services, and an inclusive identification system through PhilSys. Notably, the entire PSA Zambales team demonstrated unity and readiness, with a 100% attendance rate during the audit.

The evaluation was led by Mr. Benson Platino of TUV NORD Philippines, an independent certification body. Mr. Platino thoroughly assessed the agency’s core processes, including Statistical Operations, Civil Registration Operations, and National ID Operations.

Mr. Norman L. Bundalian, Chief Statistical Specialist, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the PSA Zambales personnel for their dedication and hard work. “This accomplishment is a reflection of our collective commitment to delivering high-quality services to our clients and stakeholders,” he said.

The auditor, Mr. Platino, also provided valuable feedback and recommendations that will further strengthen the office’s systems, enhance efficiency, and ensure continuous improvement in its services.

With this successful audit, PSA Zambales reaffirms its dedication to maintaining quality standards and upholding its mission to provide accurate, timely, and reliable statistics and services to the public.
