
Santa Cruz, Zambales – The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Zambales Provincial Statistical Office, in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Santa Cruz, conducted a National ID Mobile Registration and Information Awareness Campaign at the Multi-Purpose Hall, Santa Cruz, Zambales, on February 25, 2025, as part of the Civil Registration Month Celebration.
PSA Zambales Registration Officer I, Joey J. Amante, discussed the Salient Features of Republic Act 11055, also known as the Philippine Identification System Act of 2018, emphasizing that the National ID (Card Form, Paper Form, and Digital) serves as a key to financial inclusion. Clients were reminded of the importance of the National ID in providing a single, reliable identification system for Filipinos. Additionally, the features, validity, and utilization of the National ID Paper Form and Digital National ID were highlighted.
After the lecture, clients raised their concerns and inquiries through a Frequently Asked Questions session related to the National ID. By the end of the event, 32 clients successfully completed their National ID registration.
PSA Zambales will continue to coordinate with local government units and other agencies to conduct National ID Mobile Registrations and Information, Education, and Communication Campaigns. These efforts aim to promote the importance and benefits of the National ID and inform the public about its updated services.
