The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Zambales Provincial Statistical Office successfully hosted the National ID System Awarding Ceremony on December 15, 2024, at the Subic Bay Travelers and Event Center.

During the event, PSA Zambales Chief Statistical Specialist Norman L. Bundalian expressed heartfelt gratitude to the National ID Personnel, particularly the dedicated field personnel who tirelessly conducted registrations in various barangays and locations daily.
As of this milestone, PSA Zambales has achieved an impressive 1,424,196 registrations, equivalent to 156.52% of the 2020 Population of the Province of Zambales and the City of Olongapo. The office has also earned 3rd place in the overall National ID System Operations across the 81 provinces, as recognized during the recent PSA Awards.

This ceremony symbolizes a major leap forward in establishing a unified identity system, which not only benefits the residents of Zambales but also contributes significantly to the nation's progress. The Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) is a cornerstone initiative, enhancing convenience, security, and public service delivery for every Filipino, and fostering a more inclusive and efficient future for the country.
