CAPAS, TARLAC - The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Tarlac participated in the kickoff of the BOOTS Friday Year 3 for 2025 at the covered court of Capas West Central Elementary School. The event was successfully organized by the Municipal Mayor of Capas, Hon. Roseller "Boots" Rodriguez, in collaboration with the local government and partner agencies. BOOTS Friday offers a wide range of services, including bloodletting, optical and oral health services, cervical and breast screening and social service assistance such as late birth registration, national ID registration, PhilHealth applications, legal consultations, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) programs, and a feeding program. The collective efforts of volunteers, healthcare workers, and everyone involved made this initiative possible and profoundly impactful, ensuring that no one is left behind in this beneficial program.
During the event, the PSA Tarlac National ID personnel successfully registered fifty (50) residents of Capas, including senior citizens and children aged 0 to 4 years old and above. In addition to the registration process, PSA provided services such as issuance of National ID in paper form, assistance in generating Digital National ID, and retrieval of Transaction Reference Numbers. Registering for the National ID system facilitates seamless access to government services, healthcare, and social programs. It also provides children with a reliable form of identification as
they grow, ensuring easier access to essential services in the future. BOOTS Friday will continue to run until July 04, 2025, reaffirming the PSA’s commitment to delivering National ID services and promoting an inclusive identification system for all members of the community.
