In line with the celebration of the 11th PSA Anniversary with the theme “Strengthening Data Stewardship Towards a Responsive Public Service”, Philippine Statistics Authority - Provincial Statistical Office Bulacan, conducted Quiz Bee competition, providing assistance to selected enumerators affected by typhoon Carina and Zumba exercise last September 12, 2024 at PSO Bulacan Office Villa Reina Bldg. Valenzuela Street, Catmon, City of Malolos, Bulacan.

The activity was spearheaded by Supervising Statistical Specialist Marcelino O. De Mesa, who gave his welcome remarks emphasizing the relevance of the theme. The first part of the program was the Quiz Bee competition participated by newly hired COSWs. This was initiated to test their knowledge on the services and data produced by PSA. Among the participants, the top three outstanding contestants were awarded with special prizes.

This was followed by giving of assistance to nine (9) enumerators that were severely affected by the typhoon. Each of them received three (3) kilos of rice, canned goods and other food items that were contributed by the PSA Bulacan staff.

Lastly, to promote health and wellness among the staff, Zumba exercise was performed by the staff that lasted for one hour.
