13 September 2024 – BALANGA CITY, BATAAN. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - Bataan launched a National ID Registration in Vista Mall Balanga City, Bataan. This is instructed to conduct the Rehistro Bulilit Campaign to encourage parents to register their children to the National ID System to increase the registration turnout for children aged one to four years old.

PSA Bataan designs the Rehistro Bulilit Campaign to utilize the child-friendly environment to the invited participants from Bataan Montessori Incorporated, BO Central Elementary School and Barangay Central, Balanga City, Bataan and other mall goers. A station with different toys, coloring materials, and a photo booth was placed in the area to make it more fun and interesting. PSA Bataan extends the effort to give a token to those children who will undergo registration.

In this activity, there were eighty four (84) total participants, forty seven (47) males and thirty seven (37) females registered to the National ID System. Age four (4) is the highest number of children registered and there were eight (8) non children participating in this turnout (see annex A). Mall Head, Mr. John Justinn Guinto extended their effort for the venue and other materials needed for this initiative. During  the activity, Chief Statistical Specialist, Mr. Francisco P. Corpuz informed the participants about the importance and purpose of Digital National ID, he was also provided the instructions on how to avail the service.

According to RA 11055 also known as the Philippine Identification System Act, all Filipino citizens and resident aliens, regardless of age, must be registered for the National ID System. This turnout will serve as the essential step in ensuring children receive appropriate social services. And based on the Memorandum Circular No. 2024-17 for the additional guidelines for delayed registration of birth, one of the requirements is the National ID in any format.

Rehistro Bulilit Campaign is a vital initiative aimed to increase the number of registrant aged children 1 to 4 years old. The activity focuses also on the environment that is tempting to the children to register. The integration of PSA into this campaign ensures a more streamlined and secure method to register the Filipino children, thereby improving the efficiency of social services.
