The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Bataan is currently conducting the Quarter 2, 2025 Quarterly Aquaculture Fisheries Survey (QAqFS) to 65 aquaculture operators for the 31 sample barangays in the province. The aquaculture operators will be visited by the hired Statistical from 16 to 27 June 2025

2025 QAqFS is a nationwide survey conducted by the PSA to generate volume and value of aquaculture fisheries production by species at the provincial, regional, and national levels. These data will be used by government planners, policymakers, and administrators in formulating economic development plans, policies, and programs.

The conduct of the 2025 QAqFS is in accordance with Republic Act (RA) No. 10625 (Philippine
Statistical Act of 2013), which authorizes the PSA to prepare and conduct periodic censuses on various sectors of the economy and Executive Order No. 352 mandating the conduct of QAqFS every quarter.

In line with this, Philippine Statistics Authority – Bataan enjoins the sample operators to participate in the 2025 QAqFS. PSA is expecting the cooperation of the Barangay Officials and the public in the following sample barangays.
