10 March 2025 – Baler, Aurora. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Aurora Provincial Statistical Office, under the leadership of OIC Ferdinand E. Santiago, Registration Officer II Sonia U. Dulay and Registration Officer I Roan Mae E. Reopta concluded the 35th Civil Registration Month (CRM) with a closing ceremony held on 28 Feb 2025 at JS Center, Brgy. Pingit, Baler, Aurora. Present in the celebration were the employees and staff of PSA-Aurora, COSWs, On-the-Job Training student from Wesleyan University-Philippines – Maria Aurora Campus and immersion students from Mount Carmel College – Baler.

SrSS Elizabeth Q. Lopez delivered an opening remarks regarding the importance of Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS), how the CRVS works when she mentioned that it is a process that begins from “womb to tomb” which attests the significance of CRVS in the community. This was followed by a Quiz Bee Competition participated by PSA personnel grouped into five. In the end, the simple goodies were given to the winners of the first, second and third place as token for their concerted efforts in the quiz.

The said event also served as a platform to disseminate data on vital statistics (birth, marriage, and death) in Aurora province for the year 2025. PSA-Aurora warmly congratulated the winners and gratefully acknowledged the contributions of all who made the 35th CRM celebration a success.
