26 June 2024 – Baler, Aurora: The Philippine Statistics Authority – Aurora, in collaboration with Bulacan State University (BulSU), successfully conducted a three-day training program on Data Management and Visualization using Microsoft (MS) Excel Application. Held at the J.S. Center in Brgy. Pingit, Baler Aurora, the event aimed to enhance the skills of local government and Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) personnel in handling statistical data effectively.

The resource persons were a dedicated team from BulSU, namely Joshua P. Valeroso, Deo Stephanie R. Angeles, and Lyca DC. Marcelino. They were joined by participants from the Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) and personnel from the Municipal Civil Registry Office of Central Aurora, representing Baler, Maria Aurora, and Dipaculao.

 

The training focused on equipping attendees with advanced techniques in MS Excel, crucial for their roles in data management and statistical analysis. Through practical sessions and theoretical insights, participants gained valuable knowledge that promises to enhance their productivity and proficiency in managing statistical data.

This initiative underscores the commitment of the Philippine Statistics Authority – Aurora and Bulacan State University to foster continuous learning and capacity building among local government units. By empowering personnel with essential skills in MS Excel, the organizations aim to facilitate more efficient and accurate data processing, ultimately benefiting the communities they serve.
