On June 12, 2024, the Philippine Statistics Authority Tarlac played a pivotal role in enhancing the Kalayaan 2024 celebration at Bulwagan ng Kanlahi, Diwa ng Tarlac, in commemoration of the 126th Independence Day. The Provincial Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Tarlac organized the event, which featured government agencies, local organizations, and community members under the theme "Kalayaan. Kinabukasan. Kasaysayan."
PhilSys Tarlac provided essential services focuses on facilitating PhilSys ID registration, including Step 2 registrations, transaction number retrieval, issuance of PhilID cards, assistance with replacement of PhilID cards, and addressing inquiries related to the national ID system. Attendees also enjoyed a variety of activities and support initiatives: Government agencies such as SSS, BIR, GSIS, Pag-IBIG, TESDA, NBI, OWWA, DOLE, and DTI offered comprehensive services, from inquiry assistance to agricultural support. The Department of Agriculture distributed free seedlings to all attendees. Meanwhile, local organizations, including Sinag Tour Guides, OSY PYAP Camiling Chapter, Dream Women's Group, and Victoria Livelihood Association, showcased their products and community initiatives at a vibrant trade fair, fostering local entrepreneurship. TESDA provided complimentary massage and haircut services, promoting wellness and vocational skill development. The PSA Tarlac facilitates PSA document applications and provides employment opportunities through CBMS-POPCEN 2024, assisting community members with vital documentation and job placements. LamAsia and Waltermart conducted local recruitment activities, contributing to economic growth and expanding job opportunities within the community.
