The economy of Pampanga grew by 6.5 percent in 2023. This represents an increase in the value of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) from PhP 531.94 billion in 2022 to PhP 566.57 billion in 2023. (Figure 1)

 

 

Among the 16 industries, the fastest growths were observed in Accommodation and food service activities with 35.0 percent, followed by Mining and quarrying with 25.2 percent, and Other services with 23.7 percent. On the other hand, Public administration and defense; compulsory social security recorded a negative growth of 4.4 percent. (Figure 2)
