The total inventory of livestock and poultry in the province of Bataan as of 01 January 2025 reached 2,891,428 heads which was 47.54 percent higher than the recorded total inventory of 1,959,807 heads as of 01 January 2024. Livestock inventory as of 01 January 2025 increased by 15.42 percent compared to the inventory as of 01 January 2024. Similarly, poultry inventory also increased by 49.39 percent.

In terms of animal type, carabao and swine increased with 0.95 percent and 62.06 percent. On the other hand, cattle and goat decreased with 8.35 percent and 4.47 percent.

Poultry inventory as of 01 January 2025 increased compared to the inventory as of 01 January 2024. Broiler chicken, and layer chicken recorded an increase of 60.15 percent and 79.31 percent. On the other hand, duck and chicken native/improved inventory decreased by 8.13 percent and 11.09 percent. (Figure 2).

The inventory of swine showed a upward trend 01 January 2024 to 01 January 2025, while other animal types had a stagnant trend. (Figure 3)

Rough movement trend was observed in the inventory of broiler chicken from 01 January 2024 to 01 January 2025. Other animal types have smooth movement. (Figure 4)
