The total inventory of livestock and poultry in the province of Bataan as of 01 April 2025 reached 3,695,180 heads which was 41.77 percent higher than the recorded total inventory of 2,606,424 heads as of 01 April 2024. Livestock inventory as of 01 April 2025 increased by 11.75 percent compared to the inventory as of 01 April 2024. Similarly, poultry inventory also increased by 43.14 percent.

In terms of animal type, carabao and swine increased with 0.95 percent and 45.81 percent. On the other hand, cattle and goat decreased with 7.14 percent and 6.18 percent.

Poultry inventory as of 01 April 2025 increased compared to the inventory as of 01 April 2024. Broiler chicken, and layer chicken recorded an increase of 57.91 percent and 31.92 percent. On the other hand, duck and chicken native/improved inventory decreased by 8.13 and 11.09 percent. (Figure 2).

The inventory of swine showed a upward trend from 01 July 2024 to 01 April 2025, while other animal types had a stagnant trend. (Figure 3)

Rough movement trend was observed in the inventory of broiler chicken from 01 April 2024 to 01 April 2025. Other animal types have smooth movement.
