Mayantoc, Tarlac – October 30, 2024Photo taken during step 2The Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) Tarlac proudly participated in a joint outreach program conducted by the 71st Infantry (KAIBIGAN) Battalion of the 7th Infantry Division of the Philippine Army in Brgy. Labney, Mayantoc. This initiative, themed “Panangipateg Kadagiti Kakabsat A Katutubo,” aimed to empower and support Indigenous Peoples (IPs) communities in the area. In a collaborative effort to enhance accessibility, PhilSys Tarlac set up a booth for on-site registration, enabling residents of Brgy. Labney—located approximately two hours from the municipal hall of Mayantoc—to register for the national identification system without the need to travel to distant registration centers.

This outreach program emphasizes the commitment of PhilSys Tarlac and the Philippine Army to serve remote communities, ensuring that every Filipino can access vital government services. By bringing registration directly to the Photo taken community, the initiative fosters inclusivity and participation among Indigenous Peoples, guaranteeing their rightful access to identity documentation. In addition to the PhilSys registration booth, various agencies participated, including the Department of Agrarian Reform, which inspected the area for future farm-to-market road construction. The event also featured free mass baptism ceremonies officiated by a pastor, further enriching the community's engagement and sense of belonging. The Philippine Army conducted a feeding program, along with free haircuts and dental services, enhancing the overall support for the residents.

PhilSys Tarlac encourages all eligible residents of Brgy. Labney and surrounding areas to take advantage of this opportunity to register for the national ID system, thus enhancing their access to essential government services and benefits.
