The average yearly income of Filipino families in Aurora was estimated at Php 305.27 thousand in 2023, a 9.7 percent increase from its value of Php278.37 thousand in 2021. Furthermore, Php 284.41 thousand was reported as the average yearly family income in the province in 2018. (Figure 1 and Table 1)
Meanwhile, Filipino households in Aurora spent a total of Php 234.77 thousand on average in 2023—a 3.7 percent rise from Php 226.51 thousand in 2021. The average yearly family budget for 2018 was recorded as Php 224.21 thousand. (Figure 1 and Table 1)
In addition to this, Central Luzon recorded the third-highest both in average annual family income and average annual expenditure in the country at Php 375.24 thousand and Php 298.7 thousand, respectively, in 2023. (Table 2)
Meanwhile, among the provinces in Central Luzon, Aurora registered average annual family income of Php 305.27 thousand which was second to the lowest in the region during the reference period. On the other hand, the City of Angeles registered the highest average family income at Php 501.93 thousand and followed by Pampanga and Bataan while Zambales recorded the lowest. (Figure 2)
Among the provinces in Central Luzon, Aurora registered the lowest average annual family expenditure at Php 234.77 thousand in 2023. On the other hand, aside from having the highest annual family income, the City of Angeles also posted the highest in terms of average family expenditure at Php 373.41 thousand. It was followed by Pampanga with Php 343.85 and City of Olongapo with 331.47 thou sand. (Figure 3)
