15 July 2024 – Aurora Province. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - Aurora Provincial Statistical Office rolled out the 2024 POPCEN-CBMS Household Data Collection through courtesy visits in Municipal Local and Barangay Government Units to let the officials know who will go around their areas to enumerate and supervise.

Simultaneous to this, video messages from Hon. Governor Reynante A. Tolentino and PSA Aurora OIC Ferdinand E. Santiago were posted on the PSA Aurora FB page encouraging everyone to participate in the nationwide conduct of 2024 POPCEN-CBMS.

The PSA Aurora personnel together with the hired POPCEN-CBMS personnel presented themselves to the Municipal LGU officials and employees during their flag raising ceremony and had a brief talk with the Local Chief Executives or with their representatives.

In the municipality of Dinalungan, the hired POPCEN-CBMS personnel attended the flag raising ceremony donned in the uniform donated by the Local Government Unit.  Likewise, the personnel in Casiguran brought with them the donated umbrella of the LGU in time for the rainy POPCEN-CBMS rollout.

The simple beginning of the 2024 POPCEN-CBMS in Aurora showing the support of the Local Government Units from the provincial down to the barangay level is an indicator of a successful field operations.
