MECHANICS OF THE CONTEST

Duration: 09 September to 15 October 2024
Deadline of submission of entries: 15 October 2024, 11:59pm

Who may join the contest?

            The photography contest is open to all interested individuals within Central Luzon.

Entry Requirements:

1. Entry to be submitted should be in “JPEG/PNG” file format, A4 size (8.3x11.7 inches or 2480 x 3508 px);

2. Entry must be entertaining and creatively-shot;

3. Entry should have corresponding TITLE and CAPTION. The caption must indicate the place where the image/photo was taken, a brief description of what it is all about and should not exceed 30 words;

4. Entry should be in full color but NO ALTERATION/ENHANCEMENT/FILTER IS APPLIED. Altered image/photo refers to photographs manipulated and applied effects. Such photo will be subject to disqualification;

5. Entry must be taken from 01 January to 10 October 2024 only;

6. Entry should not infringe on the copyrights, trademarks, intellectual property rights of any person or entity, and that no other party has any right, title, claim, or interest in the entry;

7. Entry should be submitted at rsso03@psa.gov.ph ; and

8. Entries will be published and posted in the official Facebook account: PSA Region III Central Luzon on 21 to 25 October 2024.

Judging:

Entries will be judged based on the following criteria:

1. Adherence to the theme (how well the photo interpret the theme)          : 30%

2. Creativity (how the entry showed some creativity ideas and uniqueness)   : 30%

3. Technique (use of elements of photography like balance light, focus, etc.): 20%

4. Number of likes (entries will be posted to PSA RSSO 03 FB Page)           : 20%     

Prizes:

The top 3 winners will be announced during the awarding ceremony of the NSM on 30 October 2024. Each will receive a plaque and certificate of recognition and tokens.
