DIGITAL DOCUMENTARY FESTIVAL
“Advancing Data and Statistics Through Digital Transformation:
A Road to an Empowered Nation.”
ELIGIBILITY
- All Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) are enjoined to submit their entry. Only one entry for each institution will be accepted.
GUIDELINES
- The documentary should adhere to the 35th National Statistics Month (NSM) theme “Advancing Data and Statistics Through Digital Transformation: A Road to an Empowered Nation”.
- Videos and photos to be used in the documentary should be original.
- The soundtrack and other music scoring to be used can be produced and owned by other artists, provided that appropriate acknowledgement will be included in the closing credits.
- Clips must be shot using mobile devices (mobile phone or digital camera) in landscape orientation.
- The final output should be rendered in HD file MP4 format.
- The total running time of the documentary should not exceed 10 minutes including its opening and closing billboards.
- Dialogues may be in any language but should have a Filipino or English subtitle provided.
- A lay-out/design of the documentary poster with a measurement of 5x4ft (Portrait Orientation) representing the documentary should also be submitted.
SUBMISSION
- Entries together with the poster must be submitted via email or Google drive to rsso03@psa.gov.ph on or before 15 October 2024.
- Entries must contain the file name Documentary_Name of Institution (Abbreviate) (Documentary_PSA).
AWARDS AND WINNERS
- The top three best documentaries will be awarded as 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place, respectively.
- The winners will be announced during the closing ceremony of the 35th NSM scheduled on 30 October 2024.
- The winners will receive plaques, certificates of recognition and tokens.
- A special award for the best poster will also be given.
