50th CRS Serbilis Outlet Opens in Aurora

The Civil Registry System (CRS) Outlet in Aurora was officially inaugurated on 27 October 2022. The newly opened Serbilis facility is the 5th outlet in Central Luzon along with City of San Fernando Pampanga, Cabanatuan City Nueva Ecija, Olongapo City Zambales, and Tarlac City, Tarlac. This was marked as the 50th CRS Serbilis Outlet that will cater walk-in clients from Aurora and nearby localities to accommodate requests for copy issuance of civil registry documents in security paper. The said Outlet will provide services through copy issuance of Certificate of Live Birth (CI-B), Certificate of Death (CI-D), Certificate of Marriage (CI-M), and Certificate of No Marriage/Advisory on Marriage (CENOMAR/CEMAR). 

The inauguration ceremony was led by PSA’s Assistant National Statistician Marizza Grande, RSSO 03 Regional Director Arlene Divino, OIC – Chief Statistical Specialist Julita Valdez, Unisys Client Delivery Executive Edwin Angoluan, Governor Christian Noveras, and the former Chief Statistical Specialist Mercy Duaso was grace the event. After the ceremonial ribbon cutting, a short program took place wherein the special guests delivered messages. The other participants who attended the inauguration and “Go Live” activity includes the Chief Statistical Specialists and the Chief Administrative Officer of Central Luzon, RSSO 03 and provincial staff, Aurora Civil Registrars Association, and Unisys Managed Services personnel.

Furthermore, Aurora’s Governor, Christian Noveras, delivered a message and extended his gratitude to the Philippine Statistics Authority. Gov. Noveras said “The opening of CRS Outlet in Baler will help my constituents to have easier and faster transactions in securing documents. Also, the people of Aurora will no longer travel to the province of Pampanga and Nueva Ecija.” In addition, ANS Grande also highlighted in her message that the opening of the outlet primarily aimed to bring the service of PSA closer to the public.

A live demonstration on the process of securing a civil registry document was also conducted by having Gov. Noveras as the first client of CRS Aurora.  The step by step procedure was discussed by Unisys Regional Operations Lead, Allan Lopez. Queries regarding the appointment system, number of clients that will be accommodated per day, and Batch Request Entry Query System (BREQS) were raised and answered during the program.
